Back again on Prod Rage’s show with another huge week of interviews and music to broadcast to our listeners – it is an absolute honour to welcome Blak Mexxiah and Stephen ‘Cat’ Coore of the prestigious Third World!

Representing Accra, Ghana, Blak Mexxiah creates music within the genres of Reggae, Dancehall and Afrobeat. He will be live on the line to offer insights within his work, discussing inspirations, potential projects and much more.
Blak Mexxiah
Guitarist/cellist Stephen ‘Cat’ Coore, a huge influence within the initial spark of creating what is now one of the most extensively lived Reggae bands, the ‘Reggae Ambassadors’, Third World. His journey began before 1973, however, the formation of Third World occurred then and is still striving strong 47 years on. There is a great deal of history to unpack. Whether that’s opening up on the same stage as the legendary Bob Marley, The Wailers and The Jackson 5, being nominated as a collective for nine Grammys, having multiple charted tracks, or, pursuing his own individual career, we aim to extract the most that we possibly can. This is a conversation that will be held in the hearts and minds of everyone involved for eternity.

Their latest body of work – ‘More Work to Be Done’ – produced by Bob Marley’s youngest son, Damian “Jr Gong” Marley.
In a similar fashion to last week, both interviews will take place in the first segment of the show amongst their own tracks as well as a selection of more Reggae and Dancehall vibes from all over the world. This will be followed by an array of Rap, Grime and other alternative sounds branching off. Make sure to lock in through the link below!
